From the moment you walk into the theatre and experience the incredible sets, costumes, lighting, seamless transitions, immersive scenes, and special effects, you’ll be on the edge of your seat, and in the heart of the action. Following the show, take the short ride to the Shady Maple Smorgasbord for your 4:30 pm reservation for “200 Feet of Deliciously Authentic Pennsylvania Dutch Cooking!” Some of Lancaster’s best cooks prepare foods in the traditional Pennsylvania Dutch way. All meals include soft drinks, white and chocolate milk, iced tea (brewed and sweet), fresh lemonade and coffee, and feature Lancaster County fried chicken, breaded Icelandic cod, roast pork and sauerkraut, and ham. Assorted hot vegetables, including dried corn, green beans, mashed potatoes, brown buttered noodles. Two hot soups, a salad bar, dessert bar featuring cheesecakes, fresh baked cakes and pies, homemade puddings and ice cream. You won’t leave hungry!
